Erin Matherne

Erin Matherne is a unicorn. Highly intelligent and quick-witted, she might be intimidating if these qualities weren’t wrapped in the warmth and compassion that she’s come to be known for. Erin started practicing law in Austin almost 25 years and brings valuable experience to her practice. She knows that finding a qualified lawyer is the easy part though; the trick is finding one with integrity, empathy and humor, and this is what sets Erin apart. She is passionate about using these traits to make difficult or uncomfortable legal matters not only bearable, but often rewarding for her clients.

As a working mom of a high school and college aged son, Erin also understands that for most modern families like her own, time and money are finite resources. Erin was thrilled to join Curbside Attorney in 2023 because she believes in the business model of providing efficient and economical services for a variety of legal matters. She also appreciates the peace of mind she is able to provide to her Curbside clients when their wishes are memorialized, and a future plan is in place for their families. 
 
Erin's affinity for connecting with and serving her clients extends to her local Austin community. She has been a member of the Lake Travis chapter of the Young Men’s Service League for five years and served as a board member for three years. What started out as “forced family fun” with her teenaged sons became a transformative experience for everyone. Erin and her family now enjoy working together alongside several community organizations such as Austin Disaster Relief Network, Central Texas Food Bank, Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Green Santa and Settlement Home.
